F. Kugel report the discovery of an apparent supernova (17.2 R) on
images (limiting magnitude 18.0) obtained on October 30.83 UT with a
0.2-m SC telescope + CCD SBIG ST2000XM camera + r'filter at Banon 04,
France.
The new object is located at A.R. = 01 18 15.60, Decl. = +15
05 58.8 (equinox 2000.0, astrometry with respect to USNO-SA2 stars)
which is 12 arcsec east and 2 arcsec north of the center of Galaxy 2MFGC
973.
A confirming image was obtained on October 31.52 by A. Klotz, D.
Turpin (IRAP-CNRS-OMP), D. Coward and J. Moore (UWA) using the Zadko
robotic telescope (D=100cm) located at the observatory - Gingin,
